I did my B.Sc (Honours) in Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics as general courses from Scottish Church College in 2017. I completed my Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry at IIT Kharagpur in 2019. I joined Prof. Govardhan Reddy’s group in August 2019 as a PhD student. Using the tools of statistical thermodynamics and molecular dynamics simulations, I used to study multiple aspects of biophysical chemistry. My current research focuses on the study of free energy landscape of ion sensing by RNA fragment and docking-undocking dynamics of tetraloop-receptor complex using molecular dynamics simulation. I am also interested to do research on riboswitches. In my spare time I play cricket, football, badminton and table tennis.
