The much-awaited Liga ng Silangan Volleyball Tournament officially kicked off today, August 10, 2025, at the Dadiangas East Elementary School Gymnasium as part of the PAHIMUGSO 2025 celebration!

Players from different districts showcased their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making this day filled with exciting rallies, powerful spikes, and unending cheers from the crowd.

The 𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 of 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 and students from 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 recently engaged in a productive dialogue about 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭, a groundbreaking 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.

This initiative aims to enhance healthcare services for the youth, promoting a healthier and more informed community. The collaboration and shared insights during the discussion underscore the dedication to improving youth healthcare and fostering a brighter future.

          Love knows no boundaries! Hon. Gregory P. Pillo, together with the OJT students of St. Therese High School and Holy Trinity College, shared the spirit of Valentine's Day with the children of Dadiangas East Elementary School. With the help of the SPTA Officers headed by MaryChrist Sarmiento and the cooperation of Dadiangas East Elementary School led by Ma’am Evelyn Sanoria, School Principal, this celebration became even more meaningful. Hon. Pillo also extended blessings to vulnerable students, reminding us all that love is best expressed through kindness and generosity.

𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗚. 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 4𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 (𝗗𝗔𝗣𝗖) 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Ms. Janiel G. Rendon proudly secured 4th (Top 5) place in the Poster-Making Contest held on November 19, 2024, at Veranza Mall. The competition was part of the activities celebrating Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week. This year’s theme, “𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝-𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙧𝙪𝙜 𝙐𝙨𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡” emphasized the importance of health-centered strategies in addressing drug-related issues.

Ms. Rendon's success in this competition was made possible with the unwavering support of SK Secretary of Dadiangas East, Mr. Eric Jhon G. Jagunos, and BADAC Focal Person, Sir Dario Narte, who both played an instrumental role in encouraging and guiding her throughout the event. Their dedication to youth empowerment and community engagement highlights their commitment to drug abuse prevention advocacy.

This achievement not only reflects her artistic talent but also underscores the collective efforts of the Sangguniang Kabataan and the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) in raising awareness about the importance of preventive measures in combating drug abuse within the community.

Barangay Dadiangas East SK Leads the Way in Budget Submission for 2025

Under the leadership of Hon. GREGORY P. PILLO and the 7th SK Council, Barangay Dadiangas East SK proudly becomes the first to submit the Annual Budget for Calendar Year 2025. Their swift compliance with government mandates showcases their commitment to responsible governance, transparency, and fiscal accountability—setting a high standard for others to follow.

In partner with the AGAS Foundation in launching a Voter Literacy Training for our community. Together, we aim to equip every young voter in Barangay Dadiangas East with the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices for a better future. Sarmiento and East Elementary Principal Ma'am Evely Sanoria to outline the programs and plans for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK). Together with SK Kagawad Hon. Kliex Sumaid, Pillo emphasized the importance of creating tangible projects with lasting impact. He noted that the SK's educational initiatives should focus on enhancing local schools, which are vital to the community, rather than diverting limited resources elsewhere.
