Checklist To Clean After Builder - Post Construction

Floors should be swept off all dirt and grout and paint needs to be scraped off them.

Protective tape on frames and plastic of windows should be removed.

Windows must be cleaned including their tracks and sills.

Internal doors with glass needs to be cleaned and all sorts of stains removed.

Building waste and also other materials in the property has to be cleared.

All exposed concrete slabs inside of the property needs to be swept, scraped and vacuumed for complete extraction of dust before any carpets are installed.

Debris and dirt inside internal air vents must be removed.

Kitchen cupboards and draws should be vacuumed and cleaned.

Sink tapware and kitchen stone benchtops has to be cleaned and polished.

Each of the internal mirrored wardrobes in bedrooms has to be unsoiled.

All wardrobe shelves has to be cleaned.

Bathroom shower wall, screen, and base needs to be washed.

Bathtub, bathroom tiles, and tapware needs to be washed.

Bathroom mirror, sink and vanity cupboards, and benchtop must be cleansed.

All grout swirls and excess grout must be taken from bathroom tile skirtings.

Bathroom tiles must be acid washed, except porcelain and other finishes that happen to be sensitive, to ensure that excess grout, grout swirls, paint residue, or silicone are completely removed.

After acid washing, bathroom floor tiles should be neutralized.

Shower wall, screen, and base of master ensuite must be cleaned.
