Deborah Dunne Sousa is in her 28th year as organist/choirmaster at St. John's Lutheran church.  Deb began playing the organ at her home congregation of Christ Lutheran Church in Wantagh NY in 1970.  She has held positions as organist in Connecticut, Ohio, Texas and now Tennessee.  

Deb's first love has always been playing for the church and while she spent over 40 years as a music teacher, she's been on the organ bench longer than that.  Deb holds degrees in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island and The Ohio State University.  She is an active member of the Knoxville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
