We are experimental atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) physics group dedicated to the frontier of engineered quantum systems with neutral atoms. Our research utilizes a state-of-the-art hybrid lattice-tweezer platform to explore complex quantum many-body systems with unprecedented control. Leveraging site-resolved imaging and addressing of individual ultracold atoms, we engineer quantum matter from the bottom up at the single-site level. We utilize this high degree of controllability to investigate novel phases of matter and non-equilibrium dynamics. Furthermore, our platform serves as a versatile programmable quantum system to address fundamental challenges in quantum information science and high-energy physics. We are also advancing the local manipulation of experimental paramters for applications in digital quantum computation and computational quantum simulation via digital-analog hybrid protocols.
