S. Jessica Zhu
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research interest lies in the area of development economics, specifically in agriculture and food security related issues and the impacts of social networks in the Africa region.
My job market paper is entitled "Heterogeneous farmers' technology adoption decisions: Good on average is not good enough". It aims to understand the rationale behind farmers’ decisions about agricultural technology adoption.
I am on the 2018-2019 job market and will attend the 2019 ASSA conference in Atlanta, Georgia. I expect to graduate in May 2019.
