Hello! I'm Seungju Lee, a PhD candidate in Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University, where I also earned by B.S. and M.S. degrees. I am currently advised by Prof. Jaewook Lee in the Statistical Learning & Computational Finance Lab (SLCF).
My research passion lies at the intersection of computational finance and artificial intelligence, with particular interest in
Causal modeling in financial data
Developing and applying AI techniques for financial modeling and predictive analytics
Bridging the gap between complex AI models and their interpretability in finance
Before diving into academia, I worked as a Quantitative Analyst in a high-frequency algorithmic trading firm, where I was responsible for managing and maintaining critical data processes to ensure our trading algorithms performed optimally.
I'm eager to explore research and project collaborations with professionals, academics, and industry leaders. If you're interested in potential partnerships or exchanging ideas, please reach out via email at tonysj@snu.ac.kr. Let's connect!
