Hi, I’m Siva Subramaniyam, a PhD researcher at IIT Madras with a deep curiosity for photonics and optical systems. My journey into this field started with an interest in electronics, which gradually led me to the world of lasers, ultrafast optics, and RF technologies.
Over the years, I’ve worked on developing fiber amplifiers, optical frequency combs, and visible laser communication systems. I have always been fascinated by how light can be harnessed for cutting-edge technology and real-world applications. Beyond research, I enjoy tinkering with new ideas, solving complex engineering problems, and learning something new daily.
