Nicolò Forcillo

About me

My name is Nicolò Forcillo, and I am a postdoc at the mathematics department of "Michigan State University," under the supervision of Prof. Russell Schwab, since August 2023. From December 2022 to August 2023, I have been a postdoc at "Università di Roma Tor Vergata" under the direction of Prof. Alessio Porretta. Before, for about a year, I was a postdoc at "Università degli Studi di Bologna", where I graduated in December 2021. In both experiences (PhD and postdoc), my supervisor was Prof. Fausto Ferrari. From August to December 2022, I was a junior fellow at "Institut Mittag-Leffler" in the research program "Geometric aspects of nonlinear partial differential equations." Moreover, I spent the month before (July-August 2022) at the "University of Pittsburgh", where I collaborated with Prof. Juan J. Manfredi. During my PhD, I was a visiting fellow at "The University of Western Australia" (July-September 2019) under the direction of Profs. Serena Dipierro and Enrico Valdinoci. Lastly, as a PhD student again, I visited "Columbia University" (January-March 2020), where I worked with Profs. Daniela De Silva and Ovidiu Savin.
