Nicolò Forcillo

About me

My name is Nicolò Forcillo, and I have been a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University, mentored by Yuming Paul Zhang, since August 2026. Previously, I was a postdoc in the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University under the supervision of Russell W. Schwab from August 2023 to May 2026. Moreover, from December 2022 to August 2023, I was a postdoc at the University of Rome Tor Vergata under the direction of Alessio Porretta. Before that, I was a postdoc at the University of Bologna for about a year, where I graduated in December 2021. In both experiences (PhD and postdoc), my supervisor was Fausto Ferrari. From August to December 2022, I was a junior fellow at the "Institut Mittag-Leffler" in the "Geometric aspects of nonlinear partial differential equations" research program.
