 Tyler stands at 5'11" and weighs 193 pounds. He has a scruffy look, his hair like a grown-out military cut,  brown with a medium length, along with Hazel eyes to match, scarring all over the body due to a shrapnel explosion from SUBJUGATION, and he keeps his face rather clean.

Tyler wasn’t anything special in his early life. His mother had passed away when he was young. He was part of his high school’s football team, and afterwards he went to college to study Parapsychology, where he developed a strong interest in ghosts and anything related to the paranormal.
After college, he joined the military, enlisting in the 104th Infantry Division, the “TIMBERWOLVES.” He didn’t rise very high in the ranks during this time, only getting to the rank of SGT,  but he did get some major friendships and familial ties with the people in his unit for about four years.
Before his fifth year of service, he was placed on leave when he received news that his father had passed away.  He returned to his hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona, where he stayed for a month planning funeral processions. After his father's funeral, he was leaving Flagstaff, getting ready to return to Fort Lewis, Washington, where, on the way, he had seen an old man on the side of the road, later designated to be an anomaly one he did not know of, which marked his first direct encounter with the Foundation.
Following this event, Tyler was recruited into a research-focused site with minimal anomaly exposure, where he spent quite a long while before the site was shut down. The foundation, not wanting to lose an asset, examined his military experience and his firsthand experiences with anomalous events before deciding to transfer him to a new site. He was later transferred to SITE-66.
