Date of Incident ::
28 Sept. 2025.
Description ::
A book of notable size and make bound in leather held closed by two large buckle straps was found within the Site-66 library by Dr. Ternith Plague and myself.
This book was found to contain the memories of whoever attempts to read the contents of the book. Those who attempt to read the book can only read their own memories.
After this book was discovered, a raid by the Chaos Insurgency began. Dr. Plague and I proceeded to the closest Breach Shelter alongside three members of Internal Affairs.
All three members of Internal Affairs refused to interact with the book, stating that they were disinterested in it. Upon further reading of the book, it was discovered that this book can reveal memories one has been "classed" of but cannot reveal memories taken by a consensual transaction. After the Chaos Insurgency was handled, Dr. Plauge and I returned the book to where we had found it. Afterwards, "Bane" and "Dust" joined us and asked for this short report. A photo of the book will be provided below.
It should be stated that the memories I read were my first encounter with an instance of SCP-939, my time in Anchorage, those I lost at Site-119, and those of Whiterose.
