Portals, pocket realities, and the multiverse! I know they exist. We all hear about the higher ups talk about it aloud from time to time, but this is more than just talking about that. What else is out there?
Ever since the "Camcorder Incident" back in May, I've wondered about a lot of things.
Thankfully, many NTF and researchers are fine with me tagging along to explore portals.
There have been many things that keep claiming to be from the "void."
First, there were the rifts in D-Block.
Second, there was the island in the sky.
Now, there's a memory of forest in the void.
Why are these things here?
What does all of this mean?
What will become of it all?
28 May 2025:
"Tears in reality" reported by GenSec, multiple creatures flooded out, resulting in both NTF
and Medical responding to contain the anomaly and tend to the wounded. Multiple Class-D
attempted to enter the tears, only to seemingly cease to exist.
This was my first encounter with the void. We didn't get much data, but I can say that the site
was shaken from this. The wounded weren't easily able to be tended to due to the nature of the
wounds inflicted on them. Some wounds were anomalous in nature, and required the help of
Xi-8 and reality anchors.
30 June 2025:
A giant floating island manifested high above the ice lake just outside our facility's main gate.
There it was, hauntily beautiful and demanding our attention. We got up there thanks to Xi-8.
The Chaos Insurgency was also there, and we fought off an anomaly's forces it claimed were
"from the void." It called these things "Voidlings." They came at us with impossibly shaped
bodies made up a constantly shifting black material I cannot equate to any known material.
Why did it come here? Where did it go? Will it come back?
14 Aug 2025:
In medical bay, we had a tear in reality form within the MedBay. I was assigned to explore
what was within alongside NTF units after we confirmed the tear led to a safe location.
There was a forest within, with trees like the ones on the floating island. We found three pillars,
each tied to an idea regarding the forest itself. I felt... oddly at home while within the forest.
We took samples, I have yet to hear what came of the further studies conducted with them.
I dare not think of the void that surrounded us. It felt far too familiar to something I cannot
quite remember, and perhaps that is a mercy in of itself.
