I'm an animal lover! I have extensive experience in all aspects of pet care, including walking, grooming, feeding, and enriching playtime. I've been fostering animals and volunteering since I was young for organizations such as Somerset Regional Animal Shelter and Lost Paws Animal Rescue, where I've gained invaluable experience caring for and training a diverse range of breeds and ages, from energetic puppies to gentle kittens.
In 2023, I started my journey with The Seeing Eye as a puppy raiser. I am now raising my second puppy, Candy, applying the knowledge I've gained to help create another successful guide dog. I've completed the "Ruff Life Academy" at "It's a Ruff Life Rescue" and have additional training in clicker training, crate training, leash training, and addressing separation anxiety. I'm also an active member of the 4-H Woof dog training club and the 4-H Seeing Eye Puppy Club.
My love for animals extends to the equestrian world, where I have experience with barn chores, camps, and events, demonstrating comfort and competence in grooming, tacking, leading, spotting, and various other tasks.
I'm a detail-oriented and responsible person who enjoys working with animals and helping others. I'm excited to use my skills and provide excellent care to our clients!
I'm a volunteer enthusiast! I'm an active volunteer at my churches and 4-H, where I enjoy working with children of all ages. I've had the opportunity to participate in various mission trips and retreats/conferences, which have allowed me to connect with kids from diverse backgrounds. I'm passionate about making a positive impact and seeing the smiles on their faces.
I am a counselor at 4-H, where I lead activities, supervise children, and create a fun and engaging environment. I'm also involved as a member of several 4-H clubs, including Senior Council (a community service club), Clover Ensemble (an acting club), and Computer Club, where I currently serve as Secretary.
At school, I'm a member of the jazz band and the field hockey team. I have a passion for performing arts and recently participated in the school musical.
I'm looking for opportunities to gain valuable experience working with children and I have dreams of volunteering all over the world! I'm responsible, energetic, and I can't wait to bring joy and laughter into the lives of our clients!
