There is no denying that add math was VERY hard and life sucking. My journey I preparing for the SPM additional mathematics paper was tough. My first addmath exam got me an F. I struggled immensely, constantly failing and feeling overwhelmed by complex formulas and problem-solving techniques. I constantly struggled to understand the concepts.
There were times I wanted to give up, especially when I studied with a fever and felt extremely dizzy, forcing myself to do exercises while my body begged for rest. But I knew I had to push through. I revised daily, practiced countless past year papers sir Jaden prepared and asked for help whenever I was stuck. I repeatedly did exercises in the addmath textbook.
Luckily, Sir Jaden was very helpful and patient with me. He was a positive person and gave me encouraging words! He even recommended me a YouTuber that helped so much with my addmath journey! Slowly, things started to click. Every small improvement gave me hope. On the day of the addmath SPM, I gave it all. The questions were very challenging but I refused to leave any black spaces. I filled my paper with solutions and answers, hoping for marks. In the end, all the sacrifice and hard work paid off—I scored an A.
I was very happy and proud of myself. This journey had taught me confidence in accepting failures and learning from it , to never give up when things got tough, because I know I'll always stand up no matter what.
