My SPM Journey – What They Didn’t See
People see the results now. They see a smile.
But they’ll never know what it really took for me to get here.
While others were peacefully asleep, I was up, burning the midnight oil, eyes sore, heart heavy, trying to make sense of everything.
I wasn’t just fighting to pass exams. I was fighting myself.
Fighting exhaustion.
Fighting self-doubt.
Fighting the urge to give up.
There were nights where I’d break down out of nowhere, just sit there and cry, overwhelmed by everything. The pressure. The expectations. The fear of failure. And the subject that broke me over and over again? Sejarah.
I’d stare at those notes and feel completely lost. I really thought I wouldn’t make it through.
And yet… I kept going.
One day, when I was desperately searching for quality Add Maths questions, I found Mr. Jaden. I didn’t know then how much that moment would help. His replies to questions, his classes, his modules—they gave me a sense of direction when I was drowning. I didn’t attend all his classes, but the few I did made something click. That little clarity? It mattered.
But nothing was easy.
There were still days when I was this close to giving up.
But something inside whispered, keep going.
And I did.
And then came the day.
The day I opened my results with my family by my side.
My hands were shaking. My heart was pounding.
I remembered every breakdown, every tear, every prayer I whispered at 2AM.
And then
BOOM!!!
Straight A’s.
All of it—everything—was worth it.
I didn’t just pass SPM.
I conquered it.
To anyone out there still struggling: I know how hard it gets. I’ve been there. But please remember, regret is worse than struggle. Keep pushing. One day, you’ll look back and thank yourself for not giving up.
Because if I could do it… so can you.
SPM wasn’t my final destination, it was my launchpad.
My dream? To pursue a degree in Accounting and build a future where I not only succeed but make a difference. I want to break boundaries, prove that your past doesn’t define your future, and one day, become someone younger girls can look up to and say,
“If she did it, I can too.”
I’m choosing a path that aligns with my strengths, my passion, and most importantly >my purpose<.
This isn’t just about numbers or qualifications. It’s about creating a life I’m proud of.
A life I built from the tears, the lessons, and the fire I carried through my darkest nights.
The girl who once doubted herself… is now dreaming big.
And she’s just getting started.
