SPM 2024

hi everyone :D I'm being brutally honest when I say this, spm was such a rollercoaster for me haha. I don't think I put in much effort in the first few months of 2024; I was still in the ‘spm is still months away’ phase. before trials, however, I started putting more dedication into making sure I was able to score my very best for each subject. unfortunately, my results for trials weren’t what I was expecting, and I was deeply disappointed in a few subjects (especially addm) because I made a lot of careless mistakes, which ultimately affected my grade :<
I was feeling down those few days after, but I chose not to let my emotions get the best of me. so, I continued working harder + spending most of my hours focusing on my weakest subjects whilst not neglecting my best ones. my biggest concerns were addmaths and physics.
That’s when I came across sir jaden’s compilation of the past year's trial addmath papers from different states. the questions were also arranged according to chapters, so it allows you to pay attention + practice more towards the chapters you’re weak on. the handwritten answers were such a life saverrrr, if you’ve done past year trial papers, you will realise the answer sheets are not the best at explaining.. but these handwritten ones are so much better + if you’re confused, you can get sir jaden’s guidance :D which was helpful to me back then. mind you, I didn’t just do this for addmaths, I did it for all my electives + sejarah, and trust me, it helps so much. once you get used to the pattern of the way they ask questions, it'll come easy for youuuu. just like that, i managed to get straight A’s!
although i didn't get the grades I wanted for some subjects but I was grateful for what I managed to get in the end ~ if you’re a junior reading this, if it doesn't go well at first, don't give up! trust me, with dedication and hard work, you’ll achieve what u want :D oh a few words that kept me going through my spm journey, which could help you too : energy flows where intention goes, and don't be jealous of people, be inspired. i wish the very best for the upcoming spm batch <3 byeee!
Future plan : Planning to study biomedical science and hopefully furthering my studies in immunology + cancer research abroad :D
