• An educational society named “Vichar Vikas Mandal’s, Ahmedpur Dist. Latur” was established in 1969 and in the same year Mahatma Gandhi College was established by this society. This college was formerly affiliated to Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and now is affiliated to  S.R.T.M.U. Nanded.

Library 

Mission:-The primary mission of central library is to help students, teaching and non-teaching staff in teaching learning process. The IT revolution in library has taken over a dynamic phase of “Fulfilling the needs of knowledge society and to promote Stakeholders become global citizen.

Objectives 

►To import quality education and to imbibe the sprite of nationalism.

►To attain community and social development by disseminating a sense of brotherhood.

►To bring about all round development of the students to enable them to face the modern world challenges 

►To cater to the needs of rural socio-economically backward students.

The main objective of this college is to provide the higher education in rural area. The college has been reaccredited by NAAC with “A” Grade. The college provides not only education but also the training counseling and research in Arts Commerce and Science faculty.
