Welcome to the Sinmeuti website. Sinmeuti is a auxlang focusing on having as few words as possible while still being able to converse about anything from day-to-day life to science. Sinmeuti means this message system, the name describing itself directly so as to not impose on any other vocabulary (Esperanto taking the term for one who hopes for the name and Toki Pona taking the term for any good or simple language.)
Sinmeuti operates on having a limited selection of one-syllable words that fit together. The grammar is particle based, and is designed to be grammatically intuitive to think with for the native speakers of any language. There are optional articles to be used and even a describing syllable indicating the word being plural, which is also optional. Let's see a basic example sentence.

ju is the particle that comes before the sentence verb

jun is the particle similar to English that in this case, introducing a new sentence clause

we is the particle that comes before the sentence object
ronti is comprised of two "sub-words", ron meaning location and ti which means this and describes location
n is a fully optional question particle
A good pseudo-English summary would be something like What cause that they're at this location hm?, or put more simply, Why are they here?
So how many terms are there? Currently, I've defined 210 subject words, 25 particles, 9 somewhat defined sounds, and 9 bonus words to accommodate the base-10 number system (the language uses a bijective base-12 system normally.) This totals to 253 words, making this a bit larger than toki pona, though extending much farther.

There is no rounding distinction; vowels like could [ɯ] be replaced by [u] if needed
[ɯ] can be barely pronounced in many words, like how it is done in Japanese
Orthography with vowels is consistent, but when i and u are after a vowel, then i becomes [i̯] and u becomes [ɯ̯]
When i and u are before a vowel, i becomes [j] and u becomes [ɰ]
Apostrophes break these semi-digraphs (ai = [ai̯], a'i = [ai])
Vowels before [ɴ] should be nasalised
Final syllable nasals assimilate to the consonant after them; if there is no consonant or the consonant is an approximant, then the final nasal is said as [ɴ] (or, if needed, [ŋ] or even [n] are functional alternatives)
Final nasals can optionally be represented by an m or ŋ if they make the proper sound
Plosives and fricatives after a nasal syllable become voiced, but not affricates
It is better to aspirate plosives than to voice them
The following phonemes are semi-interchangeable; it is best to use the first ones listed:

Keeping with the no-rounding-distinction spirit, [ɰ] can be replaced by [w] if needed.
[ɾ] is best alternatively pronounced with a trill or lateral consonant rather than with an approximate
The grammar is very flexible and relies on the particle system. However, the main feature of the grammar is that adjectives go after nouns (unless the uan particle is used), and they can fuse with nouns to create new words. Adjectives and suffixes in this language are essentially the same thing.
The verb doesn't need to be specified if it's implied in context. The best example of this applying is saying something like Re ue ren. (They red. or They are red.) The iu pi is already specified.
In addition, particles can be described like concept words can. You can specify past tense by saying something like jupue instead of ju, or say something like also by saying vemo instead of just ve.
If you know anything about hangul, you're probably asking something along the lines of Why is the hangul not matching up with the latin? To that, my friend, I say this: in a language without serious voice distinction or the uh sound, why would I use hangul without altering it? I may have altered it a bit over-the-top, but I figured I might as well define every possible character to take as much advantage of unicode as possible.

Vowels or semivowels before a nasal pronounced as [ɴ] can have tilde diacritics on top of them with the n removed. Note that this does not discount the [ɴ] phoneme.
Due to the tilde representing an n, in order to avoid confusion with the letter m, a double n can be notated as ñ, which is pronounced as a consonant-lengthened n. This also means that the ñ cannot represent the palatal nasal.

On the subject of numbers, let's talk about the bijective base-12 system in Sinmeuti as well as how it works with base-10. In this language, each number is read off digit by digit, a bit like if you read "123" as one-two-three instead of one hundred twenty three. This system is in place whether you're using base-10 or base-12. Naturally, the numbers can be grouped like in most natural languages if so desired, but there isn't an in-built function for it within the language.

In bijective systems, zero is not considered a digit and is usually represented by a lambda (λ). Once you hit thirteen, rather than in a normal base-12 system in which the digits would go from ᑫ to ᒥⵔ, the digits become ᒥᒥ. A dash (especially an en dash (–), depending on fonts) can be used in place of a zero in front of a number if such formatting is needed.
