November 11th, is signified as veterans day, choosing the date like the other nations, as the time when the Great War ( World War One ) had ended. All Singhlorian citizens are expected to Take a moment of silence during 5AM, and 11AM CST, as a way to respect the soldiers that have fought during those hard times.
So, why the poppy?
The Poppy is widely recognized to use for those who have fallen in war, specifically the ones during The Great War ( World War One ). The Poppy was chose because the flower symbolises;
Restful Sleep ( Death ) • Loss or a death in a family
•Peace in death
Who Recognizes it?
The only nation that recognizes veterans day is the United States, however, these other countries in the map recognize armistice day, specifially for the First World War. RED = RECOGNIZED
