Sinclair's Tutoring and Learning Center provides access to quality tutors in both virtual (Zoom) and on-campus (face-to-face) settings in one-hour blocks of time. All our services are free to currently enrolled Sinclair students. We offer tutoring in over 200 courses including Spanish, Japanese, and French. Our modern language tutors specialize in supporting students through course material such as pronunciation, verb conjugation, vocabulary practice, and holistic assessments. Tutoring sessions can be conducted in an individual or group setting based on the student's preferences. The mission of the Tutoring and Learning Center is to empower students to achieve academic success through quality tutoring. 

Sinclair’s Modern Language Lab is a language learning hub dedicated to enriching the linguistic skills of students enrolled in Japanese, Mandarin, German, Spanish, or French courses. Equipped with 24 computers, each accompanied by a headset and microphone, the lab offers a multifaceted learning experience. With hundreds of hours of foreign language movies and TV shows, thousands of hours of music, a vast collection of textbooks, short stories, graded readers, foreign language magazines, books, dictionaries, and flashcards, the lab provides a multitude of resources for students seeking to practice and improve their language abilities outside the classroom. Always improving through feedback from its users, the Modern Language Lab seeks to incorporate new culturally rich materials whenever possible in order to solidify its role in helping student achieve their language learning goals.
