I'm Sina Abdipoor, an accomplished Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineer, dedicated researcher, and passionate teacher.

Within the realm of AI engineering, my expertise lies in operations research, specializing in researching, analyzing, developing, and implementing innovative optimization and machine learning techniques to address real-world challenges.

My research pursuits revolve around optimization, meta-heuristics, and machine learning. Currently, I'm focused on devising robust and versatile approaches to tackle diverse combinatorial problems. Beyond research, I am deeply passionate about teaching. Since 2016, I have been sharing my knowledge with students worldwide. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of educational institutions, I established a virtual educational platform in 2020 to ensure continuous learning opportunities. Through this platform, I continue to nurture my passion for teaching and supporting students in achieving a brighter future.

Sina Abdipoor

Biography:

Sina Abdipoor is a Ph.D. researcher in Artificial Intelligence (AI) affiliated with the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia. His primary research interest lies in Operations Research (OR), where he specializes in utilizing meta-heuristics to address various optimization problems. Currently, his research efforts are concentrated on the application of hybrid approaches for tackling real-world scheduling problems. In addition to his active role as a researcher, he serves as a reviewer for the Elsevier Journal of Intelligent Systems With Applications. Since 2016, he has followed his passion for teaching, sharing his knowledge in various Computer Science subjects as well as General English and Academic English Writing. He holds a master's degree in AI and a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. Beyond academia, he has extensive experience working as an AI Engineer and consultant in various domains. He frequently discusses the applications of OR theory in real-world problems to save time and improve efficiency. He is an active member of the Canadian Operational Research Society and is passionate about advancing AI and its practical applications.
