Simulation Scenarios is a collaborative project aiming at the ability to harmonize environment simulation, including traffic scenarios.

Scope:

  • Description of key scenarios in the OpenSCENARIO standard data format
  • Tool chain for producing road and environment 3D models from map data
  • Implementation of environment simulation software (scenario engine, road manager, 3D rendering...)
  • Integrate with a selection of test environments (simulators and proving ground)

Timeplan: March 2017 - March 2019

Demo

Including all three key scenarios in OpenSCENARIO format and a basic application to play them (Windows only).

  1. download esmini-demo.zip from https://github.com/esmini/esmini/releases/latest
  2. unzip
  3. navigate to "esmini-demo\run\EgoSimulator"
  4. doubleclick on any of the ".bat"-files
