This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Reminder ("we", "our", or "the App"),

developed by MOODLAMP, handles your information.

We strongly believe that your data belongs exclusively to you. Simple Reminder

is built as a minimalist, offline-first application designed to respect your

privacy. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

- Personal Identification Information: We do not require registration, login,

or account creation. We never ask for your name, email address, phone

number, or contacts.

- Reminder Content: All reminder titles, schedules, dates, and recurring

settings you create are stored locally on your device only. We have no

remote servers, databases, or cloud sync services that access or read your

data.

- Analytics & Tracking: We do not use third-party tracking tools, behavioral

tracking, or analytics services.

2. Device Permissions and How They Are Used

To provide accurate and timely notifications, the App requests specific system

permissions on your Android device. None of these permissions are used to

collect personal data:

- Exact Alarms & Full-Screen Intent (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM,

USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT): Required to schedule alarms at the exact designated

time and wake up the display to show the full-screen reminder even when the

device is locked or screen is off.

- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required on Android 13+ to display

reminders.

- Vibration (VIBRATE): Used strictly for haptic feedback when setting dials

and vibrating during alarms.

- Wake Lock (WAKE_LOCK): Temporarily keeps the screen active when an alarm

sounds so that the full-screen alert can be viewed and dismissed.

3. In-App Purchases and Payments

Simple Reminder offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock unlimited

reminders.

- All payments and financial transactions are securely processed directly by

the Google Play Store (Google LLC) via Google Play In-App Billing.

- We do not have access to, collect, or store your credit card numbers,

billing addresses, or banking information.

- We only receive an anonymous purchase verification token from Google to

unlock the Pro features on your device.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all your data is stored locally on your device's internal storage:

- Completed reminders are deleted immediately according to your usage.

- You can delete any reminder at any time within the App.

- Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all stored reminders and

associated local application data from your device.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is safe for all audiences and does not knowingly collect or solicit any

personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable

age limit in your jurisdiction) in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy

Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted
