Modulo Eco is a pavilion for research, teaching, awareness, study, designed as a prototype of living and building sustainable.
The prefabricated structure was built in the abandoned spaces of a dismantled industrial complex. It is completely off grid, ie it is completely detached from the power grid and works only with clean energy thanks to solar panels. It also has a system for collecting and reusing rainwater, which is used to water the surrounding flowerbeds. But above all, it has been realized taking into account all the environmental and climatic factors of the place. Latitude, exposure to solar rays, air currents, temperatures: everything has been studied to allow passive air conditioning and use the heating or cooling plants as little as possible.
The Modulo Eco has already received several international awards and certifications.
