Dr. R. Clinktan completed his B.E. (Mechanical) degree from TCET, Vandavasi, affiliated with the  Anna  University,  in  2014  with  I  Class.  He  received  his  M.E.  (Advanced  Manufacturing Technology)  degree  in  2016  from  Coimbatore  Institute  of  Technology,  Coimbatore,  with  first Class  Distinction  (Overall  Second  Rank).  He  received  his  Doctoral  degree  from  Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, a Government Aided College of Anna University, Chennai, in 2020. His work related on the development of Copper-based Nanocomposites through Powder Metallurgy route by reinforcing hard ceramic particles. He has published 4 reputed peer-reviewed international journals with a high impact factor. His current research is on developing innovative and   advanced   materials   through   Powder   Processing   (Mechanical   alloying)   and   Additive Manufacturing  (Selective  Laser  Melting)  area. His  core  research  area  is  Materials  Processing, Powder  Metallurgy,  Solid  State  Processing,  Liquid  State  Processing,  Additive  Manufacturing, Nanocomposites, Optimization and Unconventional and Conventional machining processes. He has a total teaching experience of 3.8 yrs.
