Dr. N. Senthilkumar completed his B.E. (Mechanical) degree from Government Engineering College, Salem, affiliated with the University of Madras, in 1998 with I Class. He received his M.E. (Manufacturing) degree in 2007 from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, a constituent college of Anna University, Chennai, with I Class and Distinction. Dr. NSK was awarded a Gold medal for his master’s degree. He received his Doctoral degree from Anna University, Chennai in 2014 for his work on the effect of cutting tool geometries in turning. He has published 150 research articles in reputed peer-reviewed international and national journals and presented 30 papers in International and National Conferences. Dr. NSK has also published 4 textbooks. His core research area is Metal cutting, Composite materials, Optimization, Machining of Newer materials, and Finite element analysis. He has a total teaching experience of 24 yrs. and industrial experience of 3 yrs. Under his guidance, four scholars had completed Doctoral degrees so far. He acted as Lead Guest editor and Guest editor for many special issues in Hindawi, MDPI and Bentham Science. He is a reviewer for 50 International Journals including Elsevier, Springer, SAGE publications, Hindawi, Taylor & Francis and an Editorial member for 3 International Journals. He had received the award of “Outstanding Reviewer Recognition” from Measurement Journal (Elsevier) for the year 2018.
