Dr. J. Ravikumar completed his B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) degree from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, in 2008 with I Class. He received his M.E. (Thermal Power Engineering) degree in 2011 from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, with I Class. He received his doctoral degree from Anna University, Chennai, in 2021 for his work on multi-objective optimization of performance and emissions characteristics of a CRDI diesel engine fuelled with sapota biodiesel-ignition enhancer blends. He has published 28 research articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals and presented 7 papers in conferences. He has also published 3 books. His core research area is biofuels, waste to energy, IC engines, and optimization. He has a total teaching experience of 13 years. He is a reviewer for 15 international journals.
