Silver Guard Tax Solutions, officially launched on September 30, 2024, through the University of West Georgia’s Startup Business Boot Camp Program, provides comprehensive tax preparation and payroll services tailored specifically for elderly individuals and caregivers.
As we expand, we intend to also serve freelancers, startups, and small businesses. With a focus on personal attention and accuracy, we help seniors navigate complex tax scenarios, such as medical expense deductions, retirement income taxation, and caregiving costs. Beyond taxes, we offer specialized payroll services for individuals managing caregivers and small business owners seeking efficient payroll processing. Our goal is to streamline financial management, ensuring our clients stay compliant with tax laws while maximizing deductions and minimizing financial stress.

My journey into the world of taxes started early when I observed my mother, who ran her own tax business, JT Tax Services. I often helped her with filing and organizing paperwork, but more than that, I witnessed how her expertise brought peace of mind to her clients. It wasn’t just about crunching numbers—it was about easing financial anxieties and helping people take control of their finances.
Inspired by her impact and my love for mathematics, I pursued a career in accounting, culminating in my Bachelor’s in Accounting and my upcoming Master’s in Professional Accounting from the University of West Georgia. As I continue working towards earning my CPA license with a specialization in tax, I am committed to further honing my expertise to better serve my clients. With the values instilled in me from my mother’s practice, alongside the internships and work experience I’ve gained, I formed Silver Guard Tax Solutions to provide personalized tax services, particularly for seniors and individuals seeking clarity and confidence in their financial matters.
