Medium: charcoal & oil pastels on 45x45 cm pressed cardboard.
The Time Portal" is an abstract exploration of movement and transformation. It felt like capturing a moment where past, present, and future collide. Using oil pastels on a raw brown surface, I let the colors—magenta, red, yellow, and green—move freely, almost like they had their own rhythm. The lines and shapes formed naturally, some curving, some intersecting, almost like the fragmented hands of a clock or the swirling motion of particles.
I wanted to create something that feels alive, like it's shifting as you look at it. The textures and layers were deliberate, yet there’s a sense of spontaneity to it—it’s about finding structure in chaos. For me, it’s less about explaining and more about inviting you to step into the piece and feel its energy
