"Pink Rose" is an intimate and reflective piece that explores vulnerability and quiet strength. The figure, surrounded by blooming pink roses, feels both tender and grounded, as if he’s in harmony with the natural world around him. I wanted to capture a moment of introspection, where softness and masculinity coexist without conflict.
The delicate pink roses represent growth, love, and fragility, weaving through and around him like a protective yet transformative force. The muted tones of the figure and kraft paper background contrast with the soft blush of the roses and green leaves, creating a balance between earthiness and delicacy. For me, this piece speaks to the beauty of embracing vulnerability as a part of strength, much like the rose itself—soft petals paired with sharp thorns
