If you want immersive, noise-isolating audio with a massive battery for long vlogging sessions and studio-quality sound, choose Silensys Million Sold 10; if you need safety-first situational awareness, waterproof durability for swimming, and an ultra-lightweight fit for high-intensity movement, choose HAKII Sole Bone Conduction.
• Silensys Million Sold 10: Delivers powerful active noise cancellation and 30 hours of playback on premium metal and leather, but the over-ear design creates heat during summer use. Best for creators who need deep bass and total focus in stationary or travel environments.
• HAKII Sole Bone Conduction: Offers IP68 waterproofing, open-ear safety, and built-in storage for untethered workouts, yet lacks active noise cancellation and has a shorter 10-hour battery life. Best for athletes and vloggers who must hear their surroundings while moving outdoors.
The Silensys Million Sold 10 is engineered for the creator who demands immersion. This is not just a pair of headphones; it is a dedicated tool for blocking out the chaos of the world to focus on the craft. With its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, this device filters out background noise effectively, allowing you to hear precise guitars, clear vocals, and clean bass without interference. The 45-millimeter dynamic drivers are designed to deliver vivid, deep bass that rivals much larger studio setups, making them an excellent choice for editing video or listening to music while traveling.
The build quality reflects a commitment to comfort during long wear, despite the weight. Constructed from premium metal and soft leather, the earcups feature pillow-like softness that distributes pressure evenly across the headband. They rotate to allow for a fine-tuned fit, which is crucial when you are wearing them for hours straight while recording voiceovers or monitoring audio levels. The included microphone enhances your voice clearly, ensuring that your narration cuts through any ambient chatter, even if the ANC isn't perfectly isolating every single frequency.

However, this product is not for everyone. The closed-back, over-ear design traps heat. If you plan to use these in hot summer conditions, you will likely need to take them off every one to two hours to let your ears relax. This thermal buildup makes them less ideal for intense outdoor running or cycling where airflow is essential. Furthermore, the 280-gram weight, while balanced by the cushioning, is noticeable compared to sport gear. You should skip this pick if your primary vlogging environment involves heavy sweating, submersion in water, or situations where hearing passing traffic or people is critical for your safety.
The HAKII Sole Bone Conduction headset is a specialized instrument for the active creator who refuses to compromise on safety. Its defining feature is the open-ear design, which leaves your ear canals completely unobstructed. This allows for crucial situational awareness while you are running, cycling, or filming in busy urban areas. You can enjoy your music and hear your surroundings simultaneously, a non-negotiable requirement for anyone vlogging while moving through unpredictable environments. The lack of physical barriers also means zero pressure on the ears, eliminating discomfort during extended wear.
Durability is the second pillar of this product. Certified with an IP68 rating, these headphones are built to withstand full submersion and extreme sweat. Whether you are filming underwater sequences or pushing through a grueling workout, the Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) enclosure ensures the device remains functional. The inclusion of Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-mode connectivity (Bluetooth/MP3) means you can stream from your phone or play thousands of songs stored directly on the device's massive 32GB internal memory. This "All-Terrain Audio Freedom" allows you to leave your phone behind entirely, a significant advantage for vloggers who want to minimize gear clutter while on location.
Despite these strengths, there are trade-offs inherent to bone conduction technology. The 18-millimeter driver size produces sound differently than traditional earbuds, and the lack of Active Noise Cancellation means you cannot block out loud construction or airplane engines. Additionally, the battery life tops out at 10 hours, which is sufficient for a day of shooting but falls short compared to competitors offering all-day power. You should skip this model if you require deep, isolated bass or need to work in a noisy office where silence is necessary for concentration. It is strictly for those who prioritize mobility and environmental awareness over acoustic isolation.
• Best for battery life → Silensys Million Sold 10: With 30 hours of average playback per charge, this unit lasts three times longer than the HAKII, making it superior for marathon recording sessions.
• Best for water resistance → HAKII Sole Bone Conduction: The IP68 rating allows for swimming and total sweat protection, whereas the Silensys is not rated for submersion.
• Best for audio isolation → Silensys Million Sold 10: Active Noise Cancellation actively filters background noise, a feature completely absent in the open-ear HAKII design.
• Best for situational awareness → HAKII Sole Bone Conduction: The open-ear design keeps your ears open to the world, essential for safe vlogging while running or driving.
• Best for portability → HAKII Sole Bone Conduction: At only 27 grams, it is nearly featherlight compared to the 280-gram Silensys, reducing neck strain during long shoots.
• Best for offline usage → HAKII Sole Bone Conduction: Built-in 32GB storage lets you carry thousands of songs without needing a connected phone, unlike the Silensys which relies on Bluetooth pairing.
• Best for sound depth → Silensys Million Sold 10: The 45mm drivers and 16-ohm impedance provide a richer, deeper bass response suitable for music production and cinematic review.
• Best for multi-device switching → HAKII Sole Bone Conduction: Features multipoint pairing to seamlessly transition between devices, though both support standard Bluetooth connectivity.
For the specific purpose of vlogging, I would buy the Silensys Million Sold 10. While the HAKII offers incredible utility for sports, the core of professional content creation often requires audio fidelity and the ability to monitor sound without external distractions. The 30-hour battery life ensures you won't run out of power mid-shoot, and the active noise cancellation provides the quiet environment needed to edit or record voiceovers accurately. The ability to filter out background noise allows for cleaner audio capture, which is the foundation of any good video project. If your vlogging style involves heavy travel, office work, or stationary filming where immersion is key, the Silensys is the undeniable winner. However, if your niche is exclusively action sports or outdoor running, the HAKII remains the only logical choice.
Yes, the Silensys Million Sold 10 features Active Noise Cancellation that filters out background noises, making it ideal for recording clear audio in busy offices or on planes. The HAKII is not recommended for this as it does not isolate sound.
Absolutely. The HAKII Sole is certified IP68 waterproof, meaning it can be fully submerged in water, making it perfect for swimming or heavy rain while vlogging. The Silensys is not rated for water exposure.
The Silensys Million Sold 10 offers up to 30 hours of playback, significantly outlasting the HAKII Sole's 10-hour limit, ensuring you have enough power for extended content creation sessions.
Because the Silensys uses a closed, over-ear design with soft leather cushions, it can trap heat during hot weather. Users are advised to take breaks every few hours to let their ears relax, unlike the open-ear HAKII which allows airflow.
