Greetings English Scholars and Sig Tau Deltans!!!
The Delta Delta Chapter of Sam Houston State University and Alpha Psi Nu Chapter of the University of Texas at Dallas are proud to host this free, hybrid event, featuring a Keynote by Tawanda Mulalu, on November 7, 2026.
We welcome graduate, undergraduate, high school, and alumni presentations in literary studies and creative writing. Individual presentations will be grouped in panels with 2-3 others based on topic, genre, time period etc. All presenters will read their work synchronously in-person and virtually and participate in follow-up discussions at the end of each panel. Presentations should take anywhere from 8 – 15 minutes.
In keeping with the requirements for the Sigma Tau Delta Convention, papers should be limited to 2,000 words. Among other things, we hope this event provides new presenters an opportunity to practice their presentation skills and receive feedback on their work in advance of the Sigma Tau Delta Convention.
If you are planning to submit to the Sigma Tau Delta Convention, consider submitting here.
