1. Data Collection
QuickSign does not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information on our own servers. All documents, images, and signatures that you use with the app remain on your device by default.
We do not have access to your documents or signatures, and we do not create cloud backups of your content on our infrastructure.
2. Local Processing and No Cloud Storage
All document processing (including viewing, editing, and signing PDFs) is performed locally on your device. We do not upload your files to our servers.
If you choose to back up or sync your documents using third‑party services (such as iCloud, other cloud storage providers, or email), those actions are governed by the terms and privacy policies of those third parties, not by this Privacy Policy.
3. Analytics and Crash Reports
QuickSign may use anonymous analytics and crash reporting tools to help us understand app performance and improve stability. This may include information such as:
App version and device model.
Operating system version.
General usage metrics (for example, how often certain features are used).
Anonymous crash logs and error reports.
These analytics do not include any document contents, images, signatures, or other personal files, and are not used to identify you as an individual.
4. Permissions
QuickSign may request access to certain system permissions to provide core functionality, including:
Photo library access: To import images that you want to convert to or insert into PDFs.
File access (e.g., Files app, local storage, iCloud Drive): To import, open, and export PDF documents and other supported files.
These permissions are used solely for enabling the features you request (such as importing or exporting files) and are not used to collect or transmit your personal data to our servers.
5. Refund Requests and Anonymous Data Sharing
If you request a refund for an in‑app purchase through Apple’s App Store, we may share certain anonymous usage data with Apple to support the assessment of the refund request. The purpose of this data sharing is to help determine whether the purchased content or service was significantly used before the refund request.
The data shared may include:
Time since the app was installed.
Total app usage duration.
Anonymous user or device identifier.
Whether the purchased content or feature was fully used or consumed.
Whether a free trial was included.
Total amount spent.
Refunded amount.
This information is used solely for refund evaluation in cooperation with Apple and is not linked to your identity by us.
6. Children’s Privacy
QuickSign is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to remove such information if it ever reaches us.
7. Data Security
Because your documents and signatures remain on your device by default, the security of your content primarily depends on the security measures you enable on your device (such as passcodes, biometric authentication, and backups).
We recommend that you:
Use a strong device passcode or biometric lock.
Keep your operating system up to date.
Be cautious when sharing documents via third‑party apps or services.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document.
Your continued use of QuickSign after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you should stop using QuickSign and uninstall the app.
