hold the tv, vcr, cbl, dvd, sky, tnt or hifi key as required till the led stays on

release the device key

press and release the red power key

the signalex universal remote control will scroll through the codes at two-second intervals

if a correct code is found, the controlled device will switch to standby

immediately press the ok key or any device key to store the code

According to the instruction manual, there are four methods of programming the remote control, however the simplest and quickest method is to lookup the codes in the code list and enter them into the remote.

For example, if you wanted to control a Sharp BD-HP21H Blu-Ray DVD player, then you would first look up the code in the instruction manual. Find the DVD section in the code list, and look up the codes for the Sharp brand. There are a couple of codes for this brand so you will need to try each one until you find one that works.
