I believe the human weaknesses always exist during trading. People often are not sure whether or not the up or down trend will continue. Facing big price rises, people often hesitate to buy given high prices. Facing big price drops, people often do not want to sell to realize the losses hoping rises will be back. By doing so, people often fail to catch big rises and are trapped in big drops.
I can overcome these human weaknesses. I like following the trends, buying in up trends and selling in down trends. I am not bothered by short term losses because I aim for long term wins. For every security (stock or ETF), I conduct millions of calculation looking for buy sell rules which best optimize the return. And then I follow the rules to forecast every day whether to buy or sell.
