Your documents stay on your device. This app has no servers, no accounts and no analytics, so there is nothing for us to collect, see or share.
Nothing. Sign PDF asks for no name, no email address and no account. It contains no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking and no third-party software development kits that report on you.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to sell, share, lose in a breach, or hand over on request.
PDFs you import or scan, the signatures you draw, and the folders you create are written to this app's private storage on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere by this app.
If you have device backups switched on in iOS, your documents are included in that backup like the rest of your device's data. That backup belongs to you and is handled by Apple under Apple's terms — we have no access to it.
Deleting a document deletes the file. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
The camera is used only while you are scanning, and only after you allow it. Scanning runs through Apple's on-device document scanner: the image is captured, straightened and saved locally. No frame is transmitted anywhere.
You can withdraw camera access at any time in iOS Settings. Everything except scanning keeps working without it.
When you import an image, iOS presents its own photo picker, which runs outside this app. The app receives only the specific images you chose and never gains access to your photo library.
Text recognition uses Apple's on-device Vision framework. The recognised text stays on your device and is never sent to us or to any other service.
If you turn on the document lock, iOS performs the check. The app is told only whether it succeeded. Your face, fingerprint and passcode never leave Apple's Secure Enclave and are never visible to this app.
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple. Payment happens in Apple's own interface. The app never receives your card number, your Apple Account details or your billing address — it is only told whether a subscription is currently active.
Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction and the purchase history Apple keeps.
Tapping Share or Print hands a copy of the document to whichever destination you pick — mail, a messaging app, a printer, a cloud drive. From that point the document is governed by that service's own privacy policy, not this one.
That step only ever happens because you chose it. This app never sends a document anywhere on its own.
Sign PDF is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and erase the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is no request to make and nothing for us to disclose. Your documents are already in your hands, on your device.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes.
