MCCBSP aims to be a platform where students, faculty, personnel, alumni, and other stakeholders can promote and share their art, projects, works, programs, small-scale businesses, and the likes whether via social media or via print, each craft is always worthy of being featured.

The SIDLAKANAN logo and its elements represent the following.
Green Laurel Wrealth
symbolizes the nobility of the writing profession and also serves as a symbol of honor and victory which the student publication aims to feature and publish for the public.Β
Sun Rays / Light Rays
the expanding rays coming from a source represent how Sidlakanan and its content aims to be the source of light, inspiration, and a refreshing and positive view towards its readers.Β
The Nib
the metal tip of a fountain pen that actually touches the paper. This symbolizes the freedom of thought and expression, emphasizing how its power is magnified when stories are written and articles are crafted, then published.Β
