SICSA Pre-EC Day 2019

Call for Participation

The second SICSA Pre-EC meeting will allow researchers to showcase their work in the area of Evolutionary Computation. The day will also provide an opportunity for those unable to attend the summer conferences to hear about some of the latest research being undertaken in Scotland.

The Pre-EC day will be on Thu, 20 June 2019, straight after the SICSA PhD Conference which is also at Stirling. There is limited assistance with costs available for people who need to travel the night before to attend the all-day event.

Registration

Registration is free and available via an Eventbrite page – due to limited space, it is essential that you register if you wish to attend the event. It also helps us to get the catering order right.

If you wish to present your work it is essential that you send us the details of your talk before 5pm on 01/06/2019 through this Google Form.

Venue

The Pre-EC meeting will be held at the University of Stirling this year, in the Pathfoot Building (Crush Hall and room D1). The building can be seen up on the slope on your left as you enter the campus by the main entrance. After entering the Pathfoot Building by the main entrance, go straight ahead and up the steps; the Crush Hall opens out on your left hand side.

The University of Stirling’s campus is just two miles from the centre of Stirling in central Scotland.
