The registration fee is £20 and covers access to the event, lunch, and coffee/tee breaks.

During registration, you will be asked whether you intend to present a poster and (for students who present a poster) whether you wish to apply for a travel award. In this case, please provide a brief summary of the costs incurred in the appropriate textbox.
Registration will close on June the 12th 2026.
The event will be take place on the 30th of June 2026 in the Sir Bob Burgess Building on the main campus of the University of Leicester. The venue is a 25 minute walk or 15 minute bus ride (bus stop University Road) from Leicester's Railway Station. Parking is available at the Freemen’s Common Multi-Storey Car Park.

If you are a student, you can apply for travel funding when compiling the registration. Funding is limited and awardees will be contacted by the local organizer.
Accommodation can be booked using standard channels (e.g., via VisitLeicester).
The event is hosted by the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences in the College of Science and Engineering.

The SIAM United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland Section was formed in 1996 to promote and support applied and industrial mathematics in the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland. The United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland Section of SIAM serves members in United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. SIAM's acronym can also stand for "science and industry advance with mathematics." The activities of the section are consistent with this objective and include the organization of annual meetings, student chapter events, and support for other initiatives and events that bring together SIAM members from different fields.
The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is an international organization that fosters the development of applied mathematics and computational methodologies needed in various application areas through publications, conferences, and communities like student chapters, geographic sections, and activity groups.
