AutoSpa Worker ("the App") is operated by Shyne ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
When you sign in to the App, we collect:
Email address
Password (encrypted, never stored in plain text)
This information is used solely for authentication and identifying your worker account.
The App uses your device camera to scan vehicle registration number plates using on-device OCR (Optical Character Recognition). No images or photos are stored, uploaded, or transmitted. All camera processing happens entirely on your device. Only the recognized text (vehicle plate number) is sent to our servers for vehicle lookup purposes.
In the course of using the App, the following data is processed:
Vehicle registration numbers (scanned or manually entered)
Customer information (name, phone number) associated with vehicles
Job/service records created during your work
We use the collected information to:
Authenticate your identity and maintain your session
Look up vehicles and customer records in our system
Create and manage service job records
Improve our services
Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage (Expo SecureStore)
Work data is stored on our secure cloud servers
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and our servers
We do not store camera images or video in any form
