My research focuses on AI alignment, Safety and Consciousness, with a focus on Metacognition under Dr Ken Mogi at Sony Computer Science Laboratories (SonyCSL) as a Research Assistant. I'm working on Metacognition in Large Language Models (Yoshizawa et al. 2026) and Metacognition and Consciousness (Yoshizawa and Mogi 2026 (in press)), Human-AI cooperation (Yoshizawa and Mogi SfN 2024, and ongoing). I have presented at many conferences, including SfN, ASSC, JSAI and AAAI workshop.
I’m also an undergraduate physics student at Tokai University (GPA 3.97), researching Quantum/Thermodynamic Resource Theory under Dr Eiki Iyoda.
