I am an obstetrician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at Institute of Science Tokyo

I received my MD from Hokkaido University and my MPH from the Teikyo University Graduate School of Public Health, and my PhD from Institute of Science Tokyo.

My research focuses on perinatal epidemiology, maternal and child health, and life-course epidemiology. I study how environmental and social exposures during pregnancy, including climate-related heat exposure and social determinants of health, influence pregnancy outcomes, perinatal mental health, and child development.

By integrating clinical insight from obstetrics with large-scale epidemiologic data, I aim to generate evidence that supports healthier and more equitable futures for mothers and children.
