I am an observational seismologist who uses a variety of seismic tomographic techniques to study the internal structures of the Earth. The primary goal of my research is to produce high-resolution subsurface images at multiple scales by mainly exploring ambient noise data and seismic waves generated by earthquakes. I am particularly interested in the story behind these images, i.e., the deformation and dynamic processes of the Earth that have generated what we are seeing today.
