Hi 👋, I am Shubham Vashisth, a Ph.D. student at the School of Computer Science @McGill University. I am a member of the DISCS Lab and Distributed Information Systems Group, supervised by Dr. Bettina Kemme and Dr. Oana Balmau. My research is primarily concentrated towards ML for Databases. 

I completed my Master of Computer Science degree from Concordia University, supervised by Dr. Essam Mansour, in 2023. My master's thesis (ranked outstanding), focused on the development of the KGFarm system, which is available as an open-source python library for automating data preparation for machine learning. My master's research was supported by the CoDS Lab @Concordia, and Borealis AI (Royal Bank of Canada) through the Mitacs Accelerate Program. Before my master's, I was affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, and Amity University, India, from where I obtained my bachelor's degree.
