I am a PhD Candidate in the Economics Group at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. My research is in development and public economics, with a focus on place-based policies, local state capacity, and the spatial dimensions of economic development. A second strand studies labor markets, discrimination, and human capital in developing economies.
