This three-day online workshop is organized as a continuation of the Large Scale Optimization Workshop (LSO 2025) and hosted by the Brij Disa Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. This workshop is designed for students, faculty members, and industry professionals. The workshop introduces the foundational concepts of metaheuristics and covers widely used algorithms, including Local Search, Simulated Annealing, Tabu Search, and Genetic Algorithms. The sessions emphasize conceptual understanding for designing and implementing metaheuristic algorithms effectively.
