Contact the admissions office and/or financial aid office of the colleges you are most interested in attending to inquire about available scholarships, grants and programs.
Ask your employer if they offer scholarships
If you have not received a financial aid award letter, contact the admissions office or the financial aid office at your college.
If you have determined that you need more aid after receiving your financial aid award letter, contact the financial aid office and admissions office to inquire about additional resources.
Check with your church and local churches to see if they offer scholarships
Use google searches to look for available scholarships (for example: for students who want to major in biology, google search "scholarships for students majoring in Biology".)
If you are attending school in the state of Maryland check the MHEC website for available scholarships.
If you are attending Prince George's Community College, check out these great opportunities.
