BloodRayne: Nocturne 2 by Brian Uhe

BLOODRAYNE: NOCTURNE 2 Game Idea by Brian Uhe (BloodRayne 4 & Nocturne 3)

“Fighting The Vampiric Authority!”

Friendly reminder:

Rayne = BloodRayne slasher mood feeling.

Monster enemies = Nocturne horror mood feeling.

After the events of BloodRayne: Nocturne 1, the city, now called Votum City, that Rayne ruled over is now freed of the shroud and has better protection, like no shroud up top and Brimstone Society soldiers who have an agreement with Rayne’s people, so now it’s time to go out and destroy the shroud factories, that are used every 100 years for replenishment purposes, from different parts of the world, while the scientists of the Brimstone Society tries to create a scientific version of the crystals that were used to free the city of the shroud, so that one day the whole planet will be freed. The city is considered a sign of hope for humanity and a big threat to the vampires, since it shows that it’s possible to free the world from the shroud. It's now 16 V.E. (Vampiric Era).

There’s a scene in Votum City where there are two Brimstone Society soldiers talking and one of them is from the ending of BloodRayne 2 and is older. The other soldier ask the other on whatever happened to that kid he rescued from that horde of vampires and he says that he thinks he simply blended in with the rest of the people they had in the underground stronghold. The stronghold is used as the Brimstone Society’s base.

Rayne has Snow with her and is now her apprentice, like Rayne was with Mynce, but better behaved. The game-play is similar to what the BloodRayne: Nocturne 1 game idea might be, but has a double team play, while Snow leaves the scene when Rayne becomes DarkRayne, but comes back when she reverts back to BloodRayne. There are some parts where Rayne does missions alone and there’s a Snow mission. Snow's outfit is better suited for battle and has a hood that she wears, but no face mask, while still a bit tomboyish. Snow is 14 years old. Snow still has her blades, whip and Serpent Predators guns (BloodRayne: Nocturne 1 idea). The Serpent Predators now has a inverted triangle-shaped upgrade attachment under the barrel to store even more blood for ammo and allow the guns to mimic all of the Carpathian Dragons’ firing modes. Rayne warns her that despite Raystrom’s upgrades she still needs to pay attention to the blood reserves of the guns or they'll prick her and draw blood from her. She also has a spider thread bracelet and alchemy bomb module.

<Rayne> - (Talking to Snow) With my training course and being a bad influence to you, you’ll be a top notch fighter in no time.

It's revealed that Rayne and Mynce's chain harpoons were created by a mystical Tibetan blacksmith, who also created Mynce's blades, when Snow asked if Raystrom made Rayne’s.

Rayne discovers that it's becoming even harder to control DarkRayne.

Each overlord has his or her own unique power, like Kagan and his children (BloodRayne 2), as well as followers and monsters. Rayne's job is to wipe out the 6 overlord guilds, while other dhampirs around the world destroy the shroud towers by blowing them up as the vampires become more and more crippled when it comes to defending them, so the areas will be cleared to one day clean it’s skies of shroud, once the Brimstone Society perfects their scientific version of the witches’ crystals from the BloodRayne: Nocturne 1 game idea. Severin is coordinating everything through radio and laptop. One guild even has huge alchemical steam punk robots control by demonic spirits. The hit list from the BloodRayne 1 game returns in a modern way and the targets are the 6 overlords from the ending of the BloodRayne 2 game where they were wearing robes and hoods and having a meeting, though their true appearances would be revealed in this game idea, except for the mysterious overlord who keeps his robe and hood on to hide his appearance. 5 of the 6 overlord targets are in post-shroud Manhattan, Moscow, Paris, London and Tokyo. When they're in Tokyo, Snow mentions that she thinks she was born here, but she was too young to remember.

<Rayne> - Going back to what I do best, which is hunting and killing assholes and making it messy.

The Butcheress has created even more new types of monstrosities for each overlord to use in his or her own territory and to protect the shroud factory buildings from getting blown up. The Butcheress has been having thoughts on whether it’s time to leave her long time employers for new pursuits, especially since she has almost completed her latest genetic project that involves feral vampire DNA which will be revealed in the BloodRayne: Nocturne 4 game idea. While she also has some ideas to modify the Nosfer virus which she plans to require a sample of as a possible alternative to virgin blood which she knows the supply will start to dwindle after she leaves and she will soon need something else to prolong her life. She also speculates the fact that turned vampires lack the ability to procreate, thus all dhampirs must have a pure vampire parent. There's also the fact that a turned vampire would follow a pure vampire like an alpha through mental control if not strong-willed enough. She also mentions how intrigued she is of Rayne's DarkRayne form and that perhaps her plans will allow her a close examination of this new power that the dhampir gained and sees it as visiting an “old friend” she hasn't seen since the 30's.

Once Rayne reaches a point of success in the game, the head witch, Morana, who refuses to admit that her followers were right and she was wrong, has decided that the dhampir’s usefulness has come to an end and must be destroyed before she wipes them out as well, since Rayne knows that they’re the ones behind the witch mark, and they also have minions like familiars (animal-looking minor demons) and ninja-like soldiers who are enhanced by curses and some are equipped with table salt weapons to take advantage of Rayne’s witch weakness, which again is limited by dhampir prowess. The familiars also act as spies with their shape-shifting abilities and even try to get close to Rayne and/or Snow.

An overlord who calls himself Big Vamp, real name unknown, and it's obvious that he loved the 1920's because he has made his domain, once New York, mimic that era and has Tommy guns and cars that look similar to the 1920’s, while it’s mentioned that dwarf slaves created them, and has newspapers and music from the era as well, while Big Vamp acts like a cosplay mafia boss. His turned vampires dress like the mafia and also some have crowbars and bats. Rayne thinks this guy is weird, but the place does remind her of growing up listening to jazz music. after they defeat him, Rayne decides that after all the freed slaves are transferred to Votum City, she gonna see if Severin can do the same with all the cars and stuff to make Votum City a few steps up to civilization. While there, Rayne notices two wanted posters of the Stranger and Svetlana Lupescu (Nocturne game). Big Vamp has an arm-extending power and he jokes that it allows him to always have the last word by slapping the person at a distance. He and his boys talk in gangster slang and Big Vamp hates it when someone is out of character.

<Big Vamp> - (When fighting Rayne and Snow) Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! I’m the boss and I get everything!

Two elf agents of Vanity’s, the one who runs the Club Farraige nightclub (male - Teblen and female - Mimoni), has contacted Rayne and Snow and provided information to them, but as always, Vanity expects a favor for a favor, and Rayne isn’t surprised that the returned favor happens to be in the area they’re in right now. Snow again does this favor like in the BloodRayne: Nocturne 1 game idea which involves something inside a treasure chest that Vanity lost a few hundred years ago. It involves a ghost pirate ship filled with pirate ghouls and a secret base they have in a cave that’s big enough to put the ship in. Snow is of course displeased with the water that’s around. In this cave is where the pirate ghouls store all their treasure, which Snow calls “X marks the spot.”, and has to sneak and/or fight her way to the spot where the item is. The captain is the most powerful of them all and generates spirit energy that he can use as a weapon. After the mission, Snow is rewarded with a choker with an elf rune attached. It’s revealed to her that the reason the Kestrel were different to other dhampirs is because they are what elves called dark elves, elves that are half vampire, and the Kestrel’s true father is an Asian pure vampire named Shochi who wanted some created thanks to a breeding program in Japan that started in 1772 because he was interested in the elf rune, an item that gives an elf certain powers that only those with elf blood can use, but the elves made sure to hide their runes from Shochi, even if it costed them their lives, thus making the Kestrel no different then the other dhampirs when it came to abilities. Because of this, Shochi gave the Kestrel to his brother Kagan because his desire was for the elf rune, not dhampirs, while others understandably believed that Kagan was the father, since he was the pure vampire known for creating dhampirs, but Shochi made sure the Kestrel existed until it was forbidden by Kasumi herself (BloodRayne: Nocturne 1 idea), thus explaining how Snow was conceived after Kagan was slain. Under the Kestrel’s long hair, including Snow’s, they have ears that are somewhat pointy like the elves. Since dark elves are part of elf-kind's history, the Kestrel are obviously not the first of their kind, while it's unknown if whether Snow is truly the last of her kind. The reason the elves are willing to give a elf rune to Snow is because they trust Vanity’s judgment who heard that she was now Rayne's apprentice, but the two admit that they hate Snow's dark elf guts, while the nightclub owning mermaid has a theory that Rayne is training her student to be good enough to stop her if she ever loses control of DarkRayne, a concern that even her allies share, hence the reason for the elf rune. Also, Vanity knows how much Rayne hates doing these return favors.

Being a dhampir in training, Snow has these powers.

DHAMPIR POWERS (blue meter) (BloodRayne 2)

(1) Aura Vision (1st gear) Enthrall (2nd gear) Ghost Feed (3rd gear)

(2) Dilated Perception (1st gear) Super Speed (2nd gear) Freeze Time (3rd gear)

(3) Blood Rage (1st gear) Blood Fury (2nd gear)

(4) Blood Storm (left & right bumpers together)

Note: Snow sometimes loses her balance when doing Blood Storm because she’s still training.

Tracking ability where the Aura Vision can track down someone by following an aura that leads to the target.

Penangglans gone mad because the shroud makes it night all the time and it seems that not being a normal woman during the day for too long becomes too much for women who became this when making a deal for power and beauty and not allowed to enjoy it, like paying the price for something you’re not getting. Their misery seems to have drawn them together and they’re holding the demon who made them prisoner and demanding they be turned back, but according to the demon’s argument, he held his end of the bargain and that they should complain to the vampires, since the shroud is their making. They have their human bodies in display to remind them what they lost because of the shroud, since they need daytime to get back in them. The demon named Mosici dresses like a blues man and complains that the penangglans are worse then musicians who sold their souls for fame. They’re also having a turf war with Banshees, which Rayne mentions are outside the Irish territory for some reason, while Mosici says that the one named Shochi, who’s possibly Snow’s father, made this happen because he enjoys the suffering of females.

Rayne and Snow end up facing Shochi, again the Asian pure vampire, since he's one of the six overlords, and is delighted that the dhampir extermination campaign didn't leave his plans for an elf rune in ruins and mentions that he'll remember to thank this Mora for stealing one of his creations from death before ending her, since it led to where Snow received an elf rune. Because Snow is a Kestrel, Shochi expected her to come to his side without question, to quickly obey, and speaks Japanese when giving the order, but instead Snow mildly gives him the middle finger which Rayne finds amusing. Shochi expects blind obedience from others. They end up taking him down when surprisingly Snow goes into Divine Elf Snow for a split second (BloodRayne: Nocturne 3 idea), while Rayne knows that it was Vanity who was behind the fact that Snow has a elf rune and that it has something to do with the concern with DarkRayne and admits that it's a good idea, since she knows that she's a potential threat. Snow realizes that she and Rayne aren't sisters, while Rayne replies by saying they're cousins, and that's still a dysfunctional family. Shochi is a sexist who easily underestimates women and it becomes satisfying when they chain him up on his throne and use explosives that they found to make his tower go down with him in it, which Snow is the one who pushes the button, but before that, she says with her head tilted with a serious look “Up yours, dad.” in Japanese, while of course at a safe distance. Shochi makes a loud and ENRAGED yell as his end comes to him. Shochi has powerful telekinesis that he calls force of will upon others because of how he uses it in his tyranny. Besides Penangglans and Banshees, there’s also Manananggals which are capable of separating their bodies into two and since they too are female are also mistreated. There’s also turned vampires who some use Japanese swords and spears.

Rayne and Snow meet a troll named Oloff who's talented in blacksmith alchemy and was the one who created the Kestrel’s arm and heel blades, as well as the swords that the elite male dhampirs used for the Cult of Kagan. He also created the Serpent Predators guns that somewhat mimic the Carpathian Dragons which he admits are difficult to make. He still works for the vampires, but with the dwarf slaves he’s now lost in the crowd so to speak which upsets him, while it’s revealed that he was the one who murdered and stole from Hatnila (BloodRayne: Nocturne 3 idea) out of jealousy for her complex design of the blades and bracers that he copied and modified for the four elite female dhampirs and is crazy furious that a Kestrel, Snow, is wearing a pair of “Hatnila's blades” that he made, instead of his arm and heel blades that he mentions. That he’s still jealous of Hatnila and feels like a fraud for using her designs. The two end up killing him and Rayne mentions that the rumors of the cult killing Hatnila were untrue and perhaps the only time they ever been innocent of anything.

Svetlana Lupescu (Nocturne game) is the older half-sister of Rayne, which is unknown to her at the moment, and once a member of Spookhouse. Her mother died giving birth to her in 1906 and her mother's wealthy Romanian family of a small community that she was living with hated her while the kind household servant was contacted by an agent of Spookhouse with a warning that 9 or 10 year old Svetlana was in danger in 1916 and brought her to the organization in the United States, knowing that the child's family would be happy that she was gone, as well as the fact that they were all slaughtered afterwards because of Kagan's policies and the turned vampire minions of the Cult of Kagan, which was led by Dariel Zerenski himself because Kagan wanted him to get off his lazy pampered butt and Dariel demanded that they be cruel and ruthless about it because of selfish annoyance of being there, and unexpectedly ended up empty handed, since Svetlana left yesterday and the humiliation became the reason why Dariel hated female dhampirs (BloodRayne 2). The blades and bracers that she uses were created by Hatnila (BloodRayne: Nocturne 3 idea). Svetlana seems to have an Romanian accent. She's also well mannered, respectful, intelligent, very determined, loyal, protective and compassionate, but can be very deadly when she needs to be, while not prideful or headstrong. She does secretly loath vampires and her own vampire half. After the events of the Nocturne game, she learned about Dariel Zerenski and what happened to her family after she left, but no reason why it happened while Rayne could hear Kagan’s voice in her head say “Yet another you stole from me, professor.”, when she and Stranger were looking through the departed Colonel Hapscomb's personal files in hopes of finding a clue on why the Spookhouse slaughtering happened. They also found a file about a secret fraternity called the Brimstone Society that Colonel Hapscomb suspected Justine (Blair Witch Vol. 1: Rustin Parr) of being part of, as well as being behind the theft of Doc Holliday’s Vesper Shard prototype that ended up in Sir Tremayne's possession (BloodRayne 2) which may have led to his death. Afterwards, the two sorta kept themselves hidden and on the run until the BloodRayne: Nocturne 2 idea. Svetlana has a rare weakness to things that are holy.

Rayne noticed Svetlana using her enchanted twin daggers that are strapped to the outside of her thighs and she tells her that she got them from a demon-possessed for power assassin named Zarzay who she faced while settling a dept (Blair Witch Vol. 1: Rustin Parr) with a rich rare items collector named Fencine in 1941 that involved a rare mystical gem that was guarded by what seemed to be ghosts that she had to retrieve to pay back that dept, which is why she borrowed Doc Holliday's Spectral Proximity Sensor. Fencine later told her that the assassin was no doubt hired by one of his "enemies" who wanted her to fail and Svetlana wondered if this "enemy" had good intentions. Svetlana mentions the reason why she was indebted to someone like Fencine was because he had something that she needed to save someone. She can throw the enchanted daggers at a target, or a few targets at once based on how lined up the victims are, and they come back to her. They have a 40 feet range limit and are a double-throw because there’s two of them (left trigger + feed button 1X or 2X).

Perhaps use this prototype Rayne look for Svetlana, which does have a similarity to what Svetlana wore in Blair Witch Vol. 1: Rustin Parr, but with auburn brown hair, while making what looks like a medallion be the one that has Moloch's soul inside it.

Joshua Stranger (Nocturne game), who's Svetlana's partner and is like a pulp magazine character, is believed, based on prominent rumor, to have received secret ancient metaphysical training as a child by disenfranchised priests and occultists of a secret clan that gave him his accuracy and precision with firearms, particularly with his Dual 1911 Colt .45 Pistols that can use Aqua Vampira bullets that he has to conserve. He also has blessed wooden stakes and of course there's his night vision glasses that he wears. His expression of fearlessness can spook his opponents, including the demonic kind, thus making others wonder if the rumors of him being the legendary monster hunter are true, especially on how silent and utterly efficient he is as a killer of monsters. It's a mystery on why Stranger isn't an old man, while Svetlana gives a clue that it had something to do with a deal. He's still stoic and brutally honest that makes Rayne almost wanting to punch him and thinking she would get a medal for it, as well as quiet and reserved until he has something to say and professionally focused when it comes to missions. He also doesn't like to waste time with things he considers as nonsense and has no sense of humor. It seems that only Svetlana can tolerate him and he doesn't seem to care, while he does seem to trust her. After all this time his life is still surrounded with rumors and speculation. Stranger is like a bit annoyed that cigarettes and hard liquor are hard to get these days. Stranger was once “stalking” Rayne, who he sorta knew through Svetlana, as he watched her and Severin enter a bar in BloodRayne 2 without being noticed, before the shroud happened, but he believed she was somehow linked to the Brimstone Society through his investigation which has been long because of limited resources.

<Joshua Stranger> – (Facing a turned vampire group.) One of you make a move so I'll know who to kill first.

Snow is confused on how wooden stakes in the heart can work on the turned vampires since she heard that was a myth, which was done by Stranger of course, while Svetlana tells her that not many people know that wood blessed by a carved sacred symbol (Nocturne game) can work because of a vampire's hypersensitivity to holy items and aiming for the heart makes them most effective.

Svetlana wears a medallion with a ruby that has Moloch's (Nocturne game) soul inside it and he's quite capable of talking. Despite his condition, he seems to still find insults and threats to him amusing, especially from Stranger. He sometimes gives off a fiendish laugh when he’s amused.

https://bloodrayne.fandom.com/wiki/Moloch

The reason behind Stranger and Svetlana being here and going to the rebuilt Castle Gaustadt (Nocturne game/BloodRayne 1) like Rayne and Snow is because Dariel Zerenski is alive. Rayne, from the BloodRayne 2 game, obviously thought shooting him out of the sky and watching him fall was good enough when it came to making sure he was dead, which Stranger compared it to a ranked amateur. Dariel's non-trusting siblings thought he was dead because of an assassin as well, while he knew Ephemera was up to something and no doubt would have finished the job if she knew he was still alive, especially when he was weak from his injuries, which her betrayal to Ferril was proof of (BloodRayne 2). After the events of the BloodRayne 2 game, Dariel went to the mysterious overlord to ask for asylum out of fear on what Kasumi would do to him because of Kagan's failure, thus this was kept a secret that the two discovered. When they finally get to Dariel, Rayne at first wanted to finish what she started, but Svetlana convinced her to let her do it based on the fact that Dariel was the one who personally had her whole family killed, and despite how they hated her, they were her mother's family, the woman she never got to know, which is something Rayne can kinda relate to and complies. Before Svetlana takes down Dariel, she tells him that this isn't just about her family, but all the other families they had killed simply because they saw them as less then nothing. Svetlana can also do the glowing blade technique.

<Rayne> - (after Dariel’s defeat) Oh’ poor Dariel. Let’s pity the man who’s only accomplishment in life was being a drama queen who was born on third base.

<Dariel Zerenski> – (Is stabbed through the chest by the feral Svetlana.) This.... This can't be happening.

<Svetlana> - (Deadly serious and speaking Romanian.) Vezi ura pe care o am pentru felul tău? (the dying and stabbed Dariel realizing who Syetlana is) You…. You are the one who humiliated me. (Then Svetlana slashes Dariel into pieces.)

Svetlana and Stranger decide to help Rayne and Snow by causing a distraction as the two, Rayne and Snow, fight their way to the mysterious overlord. Once they do that and defeat the overlord, Svetlana and Stranger arrive to the scene. The unhooding reveals a disfigured man and Svetlana and Stranger recognize him as Voicu who once used the two to getting back his position of power while he pretended to be a human mayor of the village of Falkenburg in 1927 (Nocturne game), while it was believed that Hedrox killed Voicu by throwing him into the water in the windmill near the castle in 1938 with a skeleton next to a crown as proof (BloodRayne 1). The dying Voicu says that it was residual energy from the Yathgy, that was Beliar's heart, that later regenerated his body as best that it could, while he was lucky that Rayne left behind the right eye of Beliar’s for him to find that still holds power, while the rest of Beliar’s body parts that Jurgen Wulf had were missing, and functions like a crude life support and is like a third eye that gives him enhanced vision. Because of the eye, Svetlana and Stranger looks at Rayne because of her carelessness of leaving it behind and she says ‘oops’. Voicu also recalls that he once warned Svetlana and Stranger to never return here, but since this is the end of him, they have escaped that dreadful fate, while also saying that it was wise of Svetlana to decline his offer to stay with him, that it was not a foolish choice after all (Nocturne game). Although Voicu was a known pure vampire, no one knew that he was one of the seven children of Kasumi, while Stranger thinks that Voicu, being the secretive type, must have thought that that kind of information back then would have made him a big target. Voicu had the power of dark sand that he could use to shape into things. Some of Voicu’s turned vampires use left over weapons of the Gegengeist Gruppe (BloodRayne 1) as well as German bastard swords and maces.

https://bloodrayne.fandom.com/wiki/Voicu_Sr.

Afterwards, Stranger and Svetlana, while Stranger doesn't care what Moloch thinks, decide to join Rayne and the Brimstone Society in their fight against the vampires, but they have a secret motive behind this decision, as if it was planned, which Svetlana admits that she is a little uncomfortable with. When Spookhouse ended in slaughter in 1942, Stranger suspected, based on the file they found, and on what Moloch personally witnessed and the demon admitted he was taken by surprise, that the Brimstone Society was perhaps responsible and the one who did it obviously thought killing was like a fun game, based on physical evidence. He doesn’t believe Rayne was the killer, because she was only interested at the time in looking for Kagan's children and the cult, since it was believed Kagan was dead. The killer lived up to the meaning 'monster' as it slaughtered everything on sight, and it was a gruesome massacre. The heads of Spookhouse once worried about something like this, with the kind of enemies they make, and the Brimstone Society back then were suspected to being like fanatics, with the robes and stuff and probably as self-righteous as Killian was, and it was only a matter of time that Spookhouse would be considered a threat when it came to the kind of people they had working for them, like Moloch and Icepick for example, while tolerating dhampirs because of their “usefulness” that came to an end, and especially if they suspected that Spookhouse knew of their existence, so he can't bring himself to fully trust the Society when it comes to working with them out of necessity. The reason that Svetlana is one of the survivors is because she was out on a mission, while Moloch's immortality allowed his soul to live on inside the medallion. Stranger has heard about Vanity's place Club Farraige that probably serves liquor.

https://bloodrayne.fandom.com/wiki/Brimstone_Society

Rayne and Svetlana have known each other since they were kids, though Svetlana was a teenager at the time going through training (1919-1924) under Sir Tremayne's supervision who was a British liaison to Spookhouse and stayed at his place in Europe with Rayne and both knew nothing about the Brimstone Society or being half-sisters during that time. Svetlana was trained by Mynce who taught her meditation techniques to practice that covered most of the kind of training for the glowing blade technique, as well as other things, while hoping that one day something would make her discover that power, like with Snow in the BloodRayne: Nocturne 1 idea, which was in 1941 that involved a dept (Blair Witch Vol. 1: Rustin Parr) where she faced a boss enemy that pushed her to the limit of rage, which actually surprised her because she only seen Mynce do the glowing blade technique until she did it. It was 1922 (Prologue of the game) when orphaned 7 year old Rayne arrived at Sir Tremayne's house and Mynce and 16 year old Svetlana were the first dhampirs she met, while Mynce later promised little Rayne to train her once she became old enough, which was a promise kept in BloodRayne 1. When 18 year old Svetlana, while in her Nocturne game outfit, was saying goodbye to 9 year old Rayne in 1924 to officially join Spookhouse, which Rayne called Scary House and was corrected, as well as told that she wasn’t suppose to know about the secret government agency, a package was delivered to her at Tremayne's house and it was the blades and bracers. Rayne watched her try them on and was delightfully amazed. There were times in the past when it was thought that Rayne and Svetlana were the same person when it came to rumors because of their similarities. Rayne mentions, and complains, that she was once chased by bounty hunters who were after Svetlana in 1954 and Svetlana responds with sarcasm that popularity can be a curse and being mistaken for someone with a potty mouth and crappy attitude was no fun ride either, especially the trouble, as well as the long list of grudges, that it brought to Rayne that Svetlana got caught into at times.

https://bloodrayne.fandom.com/wiki/Sir_Tremayne

Stranger and Svetlana do notice the witch mark on Rayne's back and Svetlana is seriously concerned, Stranger is wondering if whether or not it's a good idea to put her down and Moloch is curious on how this will end. Svetlana tells her that the witch mark is how a human can gain power, but one that comes with a price, and the fact that this was forced on her could only mean bad things, which the three get a good idea of after they see Rayne turn into DarkRayne, which makes Stranger think more about putting her down.

A secret church for humans. Because of a vampire's hypersensitivity to holy items, which the theory is perhaps it's a psionic imprint from strong belief, all forms of religion had been outlawed by the overlords. This could be where Svetlana and Stranger part ways from Rayne and Snow because of Svetlana's "problem" with religion.

A lady overlord titled the Pusher, who dresses like an evil nun, who through her fingers can inject a drug that her body produces that works like the formula of Doctor Jekyll’s that turns people into ruthless and powerful brutes and rules them by using their addiction to the drug. They behave like evil and self-indulgent beings who only cared about their unrestrained dark desires. The drug would wear off, and it was again highly addicted and their normal selves were a wreck, a bit dazed and confused, who made excuses on continuing to take the drug, even called the Pusher their goddess. The “Hydes” laugh like fiendish madmen. In the end, the Pusher tries to turn Rayne into a Hyde but it ends up letting DarkRayne out who slays her and the dying Pusher feels that Rayne is just like them, that she too has a dark side that comes out at times. The dead Pusher’s addicted minions pathetically crawl to their mistress begging her not to be dead. The Pusher is aggressive with a sadism personality. Some of the Hydes have clubs.

<Pusher> - Why overcome your sins when you can have a joyride with them?

Belrassa and Nokomis (BloodRayne: Nocturne 1 idea) are seen acting as assassins to the turned vampire guards protecting the shroud tower that the dhampirs are trying to take down. Freeing a path for the “good guys”.

Another lady overlord, a black woman, who’s Xena-like with cat-like eyes and feral-like abilities, named Faduala, has an arena that makes the ancient Rome one seem like a kiddie park with hungry monsters, supernatural fighters, turned vampire archers, deadly gizmos and human victims. Rayne and perhaps Snow get captured and are forced to fight in it. Rayne can block the arrows with her blades in defense mode. The lady overlord has an obsessed and cruel belief in the strong crushing the weak and sees her siblings as rivals and those already slain as unfit to exist, while the prize is having the honor to facing Kasumi and slaying her to take her place, and makes it no secret, while Kasumi seems to care very little of the Faduala’s “fantasies”, since she’s still alive. Her turned vampires have Roman swords, shields and spears.

<Faduala> - (Ruthless) Fight to survive! Earn your right to live another day!

After taking down Faduala, Rayne and Snow steal a 4x4 turbocharged sports car with a steampunk look. Faduala’s minions were expected to be unhappy with their leader’s demise. The two are chased by Mad Max-like enemies that are shooting at them as they either try to stay on the road, off the road and doing stunts like jumping as they desperately try to reach the safety point. It also has builtin weaponry. If the car lands on it’s roof, Rayne and Snow can get out and push it back on it’s wheels with their vampiric strength. Perhaps, if allowed, use the road driving mechanics (updated version) of Spy Hunter: Nowhere To Run game.

<Rayne – (When stealing the car from turned vampire thugs) Nice ride you have there…. We’ll take it.

<Rayne> - (When the Mad Max-like enemies come after them) Here’s comes the unwelcome committee. I call them that because they’re obviously pissed that their mistress is dead and no doubt wished that we never came here.

A gun fighter named Death’s Delivery Boy who uses his guns for hired work like terrorizing, as well as hunting down and killing people, has been hired by some unnamed and low rank pure vampire who’s hoping to get a “promotion in rank” by taking down Rayne by outsourcing. He believes in professionalism with no personal connection with the target. He is very skilled with his cursed six shooters that shoot hellfire bullets and is a great survivalist who knows how to use his surroundings, like being in an area with wild chupacabras. He dresses like a cowboy in all black with a long coat. He wears a hangman hood under his hat as a sign that he’s the delivery boy for death. He also has a younger sister who tags along who’s called Inficio, who was also hired by the same pure vampire and dresses like a plaque doctor, has the alchemical skills to give deadly plaques to her victims. The two work separately so they don’t end up killing each other when working with what they use, like keeping her brother from getting infected with one of her creations. The sister has a disturbing belief that plaques are the dominate species, because unlike predators who kill to eat, plaques destroy for the sake of destruction and doesn’t care about the consequences. She also has a group she leads called the Practitioners of Plaques that have similar skills and also dresses as plaque doctors. Their outfits alchemically protects them from their plagues. The plaque doctors are known to calling their victims their patients.

Angel-like beings, who simply calls themselves the Guide, decides to taken advantage of the suffering that the shroud had created for humans to start a cult for their own selfish glory. The purpose of this cult is to gather as much humans together as possible to make it easier to control them simply because they see them as filth. They can use celestial light as a weapon in the form of a sword, laser beams or flashing blinding light. They also has wings that appear for flight. Rayne ends up bumping into them while on a mission and they senses the “darkness” inside Rayne that they believe needs to be cleansed by holy light. These beings have a sense of entitlement and are impatient, as well as very egotistical. Later, it's revealed that they're actually damned fairies who's dead souls are being control by the overlord named Alcharik. Alcharik is a pure vampire with the ability to transform into a being of great physical might and has a stern tough guy behavior who's a man of action, as well as very tolerant to pain which leaves Rayne and Snow with a problem, but he can be damaged too much.

Vlad the Impaler – Also known as Dracula, but prefers the Impaler one as a warning to those foolish enough to face him. In December of 1476 near Bucharest, Vlad as a human was injured in battle and dying while surrounded by the bodies of his loyal Moldavian bodyguards, that is until he was visited by a pure vampire named Demirule and made into a turned vampire. Demirule was surprised by Vlad's indomitable will and refusal to be under his new master’s mental control and told the pure vampire that he had already had his fill of captivity, based on his past, before beheading him. Vlad later learned of the pure vampires and that they were more powerful then a turned vampire, even with the advanced abilities he developed after a year, thus his quest for power began and was a goal that ended with him inside a cavern outside of Wittenberg Germany in 1525, and after he survived seemly impossible trials, he was awarded the right to drink Beliar’s blood from a chalice, which was hidden there by Mephisto himself, and gave him power that rivaled with the pure vampires, a demonic turned vampire, while the pure vampires themselves may actually fear the turned vampire who was blessed by Beliar's blood and it’s that fear that makes them make attempts to destroy Vlad, but that fear is only second to the fact that Vlad had learned that he can create demonic beings with the drinking of his Beliar blood which makes him a major threat to both the pure vampires and Rayne's people if his army becomes large enough. So far their minions get impaled and displayed for all to see as both a warning and mockery, as well as a reminder of how cruel and merciless Vlad can be. As a side effect of the change from Beliar's’s blood, the iris of his eyes are red. He has the ability to create blood-solid spikes that he can throw or use to impale his victims and can create other things made out of blood as well, like a sword or ax for example. He also, thanks to a cursed “order of the dragon crest”, has the ability to turn himself into a demonic-like winged dragon that shoots hellfire, while telling Rayne in their final battle that the price of this form is losing himself to the beast with no means to turn back because of it. He resides in a castle in Transylvania and plans to use the existence of the shroud as a means to take over the world. The pure vampires also considered Vlad an insult because he started out as a human who was later became a turned vampire and much later became powerful enough to face them as an equal, thus making him also a threat to the belief that pure vampires are superior to all. The world believed that Vlad died in 1476 and/or was a fictional character in the Bram Stoker book with unfounded rumors of him being around as a vampire which he used to his advantage when it came to taking his time in planning and waiting for opportunity to act.

<Vlad> - Without power, there would be no desire, and without desire, it would be pointless for existence to continue.

<Vlad> - (Holding up a defeated pure vampire general by the neck with one hand) Thank you for those mere moments of amusement. (then kills him by biting him on the neck)

Vlad's Demonic Humans. Despite being enhanced by Beliar’s blood, Vlad is still a turned vampire and cannot create turned vampires, but learned later that forcing others to drink his blood turns them into demonic humans that are under his mental control. He also turned animals like wolves and bats into demonic beings. The advanced demonic humans have either fire breathing or wings for flight. Vlad has a giant blood flower that was grown from his own Beliar blood that creates the blood in great quantity. Some demonic humans use demonic-looking swords.

Outside Vlad's castle is a village of humans who donate their blood to their lord and sometimes have a lottery to decide who among them will make the sacrifice when Vlad has the craving to bite someone in the neck and drain him or her dry.

Kasumi hears news about Rayne and her dhampirs and with that, and problems with Vlad, it’s like being between a rock and a hard place.

There is a great and huge battle scene between the armies of Vlad and Kasumi and it gruesome and bloody. Vlad’s demonic humans vs. Kasumi's turned vampires, as well as other monstrosities from both sides. Rayne takes advantage of this to sneak into Vlad's palace.

<Vlad> - There is such a thing as glory in war, but it is a prize that goes to the victor.

<Rayne> - (Watching the battle) That looks like an awesome party, but sadly work can be such a party pooper.

Back in the city, Mora uses her light powers to sneak into Xerx Mephistopheles’ work place from the BloodRayne 2 game and looks for clues on what Xerx meant about the Forgotten Child. She finds a secret compartment with a journal inside which may have the answers.

(6) I'm going to stick it where the sun used to not shine before this shroud business happened.

(7) Scream in terror like you mean it.

(8) I love how they cry after talking big. It makes all this worth it.

(9) Feel that blade? That’s karma finally catching up with ya.

(10) Show me how much you want to die by coming at me.

(11) This will hurt you more then it will me because I'll be doing the hurting.

(12) I'm going to make you die horribly in a good way.

(13) I'm the delivery of sweet revenge.

Sayings when driving the hot rod.

(1) (When Rayne and Snow enter the car) Buckle up…. Because I plan to drive like a maniac.

(2) How’s my driving? Especially the part where I’m running you off the road.

(3) (After running over some bad guys with the car) Run for your lives because here comes the woman driver.

(4) Angry driving can get you to places faster.

(5) (During a crazy high jump.) Look ma, no safe driving.

(6) I'm the one with the right of way, bitch.

(7) I'm feeling that high-octane craze.

Saying when facing Penangglans.

(1) Pretty easy to stab your insides when they're in plain sight.

(2) I can see why you're upset, since it must be hard attracting a guy when you're a pretty face with her guts exposed.

(3) So you can't get a date. I mean do you ever see me going on a killing spree when things don't go right?.... Don't answer that.

(4) (When fighting banshees) I bet you guys would be awesome in a heavy metal band.

When facing the Guide.

(1) So you like light, right? Well then you’re going to like seeing this light when I beat the holy crap right out of ya.

When facing the Pusher.

(1) (Rayne says) Are you trying to give me a spanking for being such a bad girl? (and the Pusher replies by saying) Mmmmmmmm, intriguing.

(2) (Pusher says) Your pain and death will be quite delightful. (Rayne says) Ooooooooo. I love it when you talk dirty to me. (A confused Snow says) Um, are you two flirting with each other?

(3) So you’re like your doped up servants’ wife, right? Seeing how you’re such a domestic slave driver.

When facing Shochi.

(1) Wow. You're a sexist who's getting beaten by two girls. Good luck living that down.

(2) Pal, give it up. You threw everything at us and now you’re like on a sinking ship with no life boats. Just admit girls are better then boys.

(3) Obviously a strong woman makes you feel really small between the legs.

(4) Be a man and grovel before my woman self.

When facing Big Vamp.

(1) (Big Vamp says) Oooooooooo! A dynamic duo! Can I be the bad guy? (And Rayne replies by saying) The way I see it, we’re all bad guys here.

(2) (Big Vamp says) You can’t destroy this city of perfection, you can only admire it. (And Rayne says) How about I admire it after I take it away from you by killing you and inherit it like a greedy relative.

(3) (When facing Big Vamp’s turned vampire gangsters) Don’t bring a gun to a blade fight.

(4) (When facing Big Vamp’s turned vampire gangsters) Say hello to my big friends.

(5) (Big Vamp’s lucky to survive, but about to die) Yes! I’m not dead! (Then Snow comes out of no where and stabs him) I got him, Rayne! I got him!

When facing Faduala

(1) Only the strong survives until someone real nasty comes and bitch slap that fantasy.

(2) (An arrogant Faduala says) Foolish woman. You delay the inevitable. (Rayne says) I’m pretty sure you being a corpse for all to see is the inevitable.

(3) Just like a bully. Acts tough when she can push everyone around, then gets scared when someone can push back twice as hard.

(4) (Fadula inspired the troops for battle and the troops later see her get killed) You people went from being inspired to realizing that you are seriously screwed.

When facing Vlad.

(1) You know, you remind me a lot of my old man. Just thought you might want to know in case you’re wondering why I’m trying so damn hard on killing you.

(2) I heard rumors that you hate being called Count. Is that true, Count? Count? Hey, Count!

(3) I just took down a chunk of your invincible army and made them my bitch.

Ending after the credits. Kasumi walks into an ancient chamber and inside it is half of a book that seems like the dangerous kind, which is called the Mortuus Liber from the Shroud Above 3 idea. She has the facial expression of someone with the will to do what she feels that she must, while at the same time have the wisdom of wanting an alternative solution which sadly doesn’t exist. As if she dreadfully feared the book.
