ShrinkSend is an Android app published by CRLT17. You can use it without creating an account or providing your name, email address or payment details to CRLT17.
You choose individual videos through Android’s system file picker. ShrinkSend reads the selected video and limited file details—such as its name, size and resolution—to display, compress or convert it.
Video processing takes place on your device. CRLT17 does not operate a cloud video-processing service, receive copies of your videos or send your selected videos to advertisers.
ShrinkSend is intended for people aged 13 or older. On first use, the app asks for your date of birth to determine an age group. This date is stored only in the app on your device. It is not sent to CRLT17 or passed to the advertising SDK.
You can correct the date in About. If an incorrectly entered date blocks access, you can correct it on the age notice. Correcting the date does not delete your videos. The locally stored date is also removed if you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.
People identified as under 13 cannot use this version of ShrinkSend, and the app does not request ads for them. For users aged 13–17, ad requests receive child-restricted treatment and a general-audience G content rating. These requests do not transmit the Android advertising ID. Adults follow the advertising privacy process described below.
The free app displays a banner ad on its Home screen and may display an interstitial ad after a successful video export. It uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP).
For eligible users, Google Mobile Ads and participating advertising partners may automatically collect and share:
The device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
Interactions with the app and ads, such as app launches, views and taps;
Diagnostic information, such as app or SDK performance; and
Device or other identifiers, including the Android advertising ID or App Set ID where available and permitted.
This information may be used to deliver and measure ads, analyse performance, prevent fraud, maintain security or meet applicable requirements. ShrinkSend does not pass your selected video file, its contents or your date of birth to the advertising SDK. The app does not request precise device-location permission.
For information about Google’s handling of data, see Google’s Privacy Policy. Details of participating advertising partners and their purposes may also appear in the applicable consent message.
Where required, UMP presents an advertising consent or opt-out message. In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, the message explains the available choices, purposes and participating partners. Depending on your US state, a privacy message may offer an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes.
When the option is available, you can reopen the privacy form through About → Ad privacy choices to review or change your choices, including withdrawing optional consent. About → Google ad settings opens Google’s advertising controls.
Declining optional advertising consent does not prevent you from compressing, converting, saving or sharing videos. Ads may still appear where permitted, subject to your choices and applicable law. Google and its partners may continue to process limited data for purposes described in their notices, such as security and fraud prevention. CRLT17 does not use your selected videos for ad targeting.
Output files are created in ShrinkSend’s app storage. If you tap Save, a copy is placed in your device’s Downloads folder. You can delete that saved copy at any time.
If you tap Share, Android opens its sharing panel and sends the file only to the app or recipient you choose. That destination handles the file under its own privacy practices. ShrinkSend does not upload your video automatically.
CRLT17 keeps no server-side copies of your videos or ShrinkSend account records. App-managed files and the locally stored date of birth remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall ShrinkSend. Copies saved to Downloads remain until you delete them. Android cloud backup is disabled for ShrinkSend.
Google states that data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. Retention and deletion of advertising data held by Google or participating partners are governed by their respective notices and controls.
ShrinkSend uses Android’s system file picker instead of requesting broad access to your photo or video library. The advertising SDK may use Android’s advertising identifier where available and permitted. You can reset or delete that identifier in Android’s privacy settings, depending on your device version.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data; restrict or object to processing; request portability; or withdraw consent.
For questions or requests concerning CRLT17’s practices, email support@horsexperiences.com. CRLT17 cannot retrieve a video that has never left your device.
For advertising data controlled by Google, use Google’s privacy and advertising controls or contact Google directly. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
If you email CRLT17 for support, we will receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message so that we can respond to you. An email is not required to use ShrinkSend.
If ShrinkSend’s data practices materially change, we will update this policy and its effective date.
