Hello! I’m Shreyas Wankhede, a Master of Engineering (MEng) candidate in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, specializing in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

My academic and professional journey has been driven by a deep interest in advanced manufacturing, polymer composites, and micro/nano-fabrication. Through my research at the Smart Polymers & Composites Laboratory, I have worked on multilayer thermoplastic composite systems for extreme environments, focusing on material optimization, adhesion mechanics, and process–structure–property relationships.

Previously, I was an active member of Team Veloce Hyperloop at IIT Bombay, where I gained hands-on experience in mechanical design, system integration, and collaborative engineering. I also completed two industry internships that strengthened my understanding of manufacturing workflows, product development, and practical problem-solving.

With a strong foundation in mechanical design, materials engineering, and experimental analysis, I am passionate about developing innovative and sustainable solutions that bridge research and real-world manufacturing applications.
